History: Koeth lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. After coming to the age of reason, Koeth took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Description: He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly kukris and greataxes. With a patchy brown beard and wild brown hair. This gray eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Varis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Varis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Assassin kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Navigator.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.
