Through the years after Vanuath was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Navigator for the past few years.

Personality: He is mildly Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Lamlis never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
