His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Varis took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up monstrous two handed axe and armor he uses now. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mason for hire.

Being a Junk Dealer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Caeldrim and his spouse have recently divorced.
