History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He works hard and plays hard.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to end his boredom

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student he started as a Carter, but he got bored and became a Cook. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His head has been shaved. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Erdan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Erdan. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
