Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Gifted from a young age, Berrian studied abroad. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Berrian fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Revenge; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

His hair is long and black with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. He has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cartwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cartwright work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Masseuse hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and to end his boredom
