History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Aelar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. History: He got into the Courier business at a young age. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Courier.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shepherd.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Ahvain hails from a village terrorized by orcs. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
