History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mortician. He struck the Mortician job and began his own company from there.

Description: This late middle aged man typically wears red cloth garments or leather armor and is in decent physical shape. He has dyed his greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. His green eyes peer out from beneath his small red hat.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Naill grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Naill. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Stylist and was forced into it by his family; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: He comes from a rich northern family. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and expand his business
