Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. At a young age his mother died while driving off some illithids. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shield use. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Koeth fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of illithids
