Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His silver hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a skull scrunchie. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Aust grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Aust. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Dreali was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Dreali was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Dreali's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Nutae has worked very hard to control his curse. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Cartwright. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Gennal was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Cartwright responsibilities is difficult; and he feels threatened by others
