History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He's also a talented Unemployed, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Unemployed again; and balancing his hectic life and new adventurer responsibilities is difficult
