However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: The child of a Roofer, who enjoyed hunting, Efferil was taken on many hunting expeditions. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born into a rich family. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the east were limited. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
