Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Halimath was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Halimath decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Varis's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He's also a talented Jeweler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Jeweler again.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Aelar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
