History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He was born in the north. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Thervan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
