History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Varis has worked very hard to control his curse. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bather responsibilities is difficult; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed.
