History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Aerdeth took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up bastard sword and armor he uses now. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

A freak accident while working with his Knight father left him crippled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Efferil was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Heian was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his youth he was part of a gang.
