Soveliss liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: He got into the Butcher business at a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has worked as a Butcher like his father before him.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and revenge

The war was a terrible time for him, and Paelias does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Paelias was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Butcher work with an outfit from a few towns over. Butcher work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Butcher job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
