History: Born in the south to a Butcher, Paelias learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Butcher. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mercenary responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: 5'3" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears a brown tunic with yellow highlights, and long white pants that bunch up around his shoes. His tied-back hair is black. His eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Rolen has worked very hard to control his curse. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Rolen was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats.
