History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Arannis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Arannis. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. A gifted student he started as a Spice Merchant, but he got bored and became a Bricklayer. He now owns his own business.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
