History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the north were limited. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Varis was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Varis's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Crown-heir.

Motivation: To be a Fortune-teller again; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
