History: Arannis hails from a village terrorized by giants. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Galinndan and his spouse have recently divorced.

The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Body Guard kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
