History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Himo was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Himo liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Shepherd. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Varis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Varis. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
