He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Naal's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Naal and his spouse have recently divorced.
