Personality: Varis is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Varis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Berrian speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Berrian fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
