History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and sabotage a competitor

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He has no hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Gifted from a young age, Aust studied abroad. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
