History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He married young, but lost his spouse to brigands. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Aust was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
