History: Naeris was born with his father's beautiful face. His first spouse was a Butcher, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He became a Merchant soon after.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Varis grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs
