History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sellsword hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Engraver. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Varis embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He is an amazing painter.

History: Varis was born with his mother's beautiful face. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gifted student he started as a Body Guard, but he got bored and became a Mortician. He's also a talented Body Guard, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Body Guard again.

History: Born in the north to a Knight, Mindartis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to be a ruler again

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
