History: Born in the east to a Scribe, Berrian learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Personality: He hates Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. The war was a terrible time for him, and Laucian does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. When Laucian reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
