His father taught him the rudiments of the Tanner arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. History: Born in the east to a Body Guard, Aelar learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
