History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
