Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a black wide-brimmed hat and black clothes. He keeps his silver hair in a pixie cut. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to prove his worth to the world

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Theriatis hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
