In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Uthemar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. Apothecary work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers.
