History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Riardon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Riardon was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Sailor. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Laucian embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Laucian is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. After a long history of fighting, Laucian and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Nim has worked very hard to control his curse. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he seems to be bored by most things
