History: Thervan hails from a village terrorized by giants. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He now mingles about in high society.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
