History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Berrian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Riardon was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
