History: Thervan lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Thervan liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Efferil was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bather. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
