History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Korfel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barrister hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
