Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. After coming to the age of reason, Berrian took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His childhood dream was to be a Dilettante, but he was a colossal failure. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and many giants want him driven away

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and money/treasure

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Erdan lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
