History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: This younger middle-aged man typically wears green cloth garments or leather armor, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His white hair is cut short. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Varis will drive conversation. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Varis was born the youngest of three triplets. Varis liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He bought a shortbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is greedy; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Galinndan isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Elven unity. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and he's attracted to the pc
