His mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Dreali was heart-stricken from the event, and his father started working long hours to provde for them. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lamlis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lamlis. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
