History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He now mingles about in high society.

He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Gifted from a young age, Korfel studied abroad. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Being a Interpreter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion.
