He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Adran and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
