After coming to the age of reason, Eiravel took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His red hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His eyes are green.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born in the west to a Spice Merchant, Mindartis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Mindartis took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sai and armor he uses now. After a long history of fighting, Mindartis and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born into a rich family. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is greedy; and many brigands want him driven away
