History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Raer grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Raer. History: He was raised by priests from a young age. After coming to the age of reason, Peren took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
