History: He was born into a rich family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Aelar has worked very hard to control his curse. He now mingles about in high society.
