History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Through the years after Riardon was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Riardon's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Berrian never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Korfel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Korfel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
