History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He has no hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Rolen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Rolen took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up scythe and armor he uses now.
