Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Quarion grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Quarion grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Quarion. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Layabout father left him crippled. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
