Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy brown hair. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Varis embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Varis was born the youngest of three triplets. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Map Maker. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is greedy; and to be a bookbinder again

Description: This malnourished man wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His long golden hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: This malnourished man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His brown hair is long and unkept. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
