He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the north were limited. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Cook for the past few years.

History: Laucian lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student he started as a Map Maker, but he got bored and became a Weaver. He's also a talented Map Maker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
